NOTE: MIP has changed the terminology used in this video but it is still valuable when an individual wants to understand how thought processes are captured. The name Tell Me Why Learning (TMWL) has been replaced by Thought Process Optimization (TPO).

The 10 minute video shows the technique used to capture thought processes. The first thing you will see is the structure of the thought process model for a mental process called: Getting Ready for Work. While the video does not show the process for acquiring the structure, it is a key part of capturing thought processes.

Since thought processes are captured one Mental Task at a time, it is just as easy to capture thought processes for a complex Mental Process as it is for a simple Mental Process. Therefore, we chose a simple Mental Process (thought process model)…First, because we wanted a thought process model that is familiar to everyone…Second, because we want you to become aware of the thought process model you use on a daily basis…And third, because we want you to focus on the methodology used to capture thought processes - not the thought processes themselves.
