Kitty Durant, Partner
Ms. Durant participated in creating and packaging Thought Process Optimization.
She has over 25 years of experience in managing consulting engagements
that improve thought processes and decision-making.
Ms. Durant is responsible for directing implementation of MIP's Thought
Process Optimization. She pioneered decision support and business
intelligence and directed implementation of projects that improve decision-making
in the banking, insurance, health insurance, retail, manufacturing, healthcare,
aerospace, automotive and transportation industries.
Ms. Durant is accustomed to providing thought leadership and project management.
She has managed teams as large as 30 people and has had multi-million
dollar budgetary responsibility. Ms. Durant led a major project for development
of a business process model at a Fortune 50 Company that resulted in significant
savings by consolidating overlapping processes and initiatives.
At a healthcare insurance company, she directed performance improvement
of the regulatory reporting process. At a large steel company, she led
the effort that improved decision-making and performance of the customer
order and inventory control business processes and enabled better integration
of sales and production. At a large manufacturing company, she led the
project that developed the enterprise-wide business process infrastructure,
business intelligence definition and framework for the marketing and customer
support. She also developed and taught training courses for clients and
consultants.
Before joining MIP, she was a project manager and strategist for a large
management consulting firm. She was also Vice President of a Fortune 50
financial institution and Director of a large transportation company where
she was responsible for process design and continuous improvement process.
